Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering a school or using any LexiGuid product (LexiGuid, LexiQues), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. The principal or authorised administrator who registers the school warrants that they have authority to bind the institution.

2. Eligibility & Authorised Use

LexiGuid is designed exclusively for K-12 educational use by registered schools and educational institutions in India. Use of the platform is strictly limited to:

• ·Legitimate academic learning and teaching activities.
• ·Administration of assessments and generation of question papers.
• ·School management and analytics within the school's own data scope.

3. School Account Responsibilities

The school principal is the primary account holder and administrator. Schools are responsible for:

• ·Maintaining the confidentiality of administrator credentials.
• ·Managing student and teacher accounts within their institution.
• ·Obtaining and maintaining verifiable parental consent for students under 18 (DPDP Act 2023).
• ·Ensuring their staff and students use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• ·Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code.
• ·Attempting to access another school's data or any data outside your authorised scope.
• ·Using the platform for non-educational commercial purposes.
• ·Uploading or transmitting malicious code, spam, or illegal content.
• ·Circumventing or disabling security controls.
• ·Using student data for any purpose other than education within the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All platform code, AI models, UI designs, and branding are the exclusive property of Kruthak Technology Private Limited. AI-generated educational responses are provided for reference only. Your school's uploaded curriculum materials remain your intellectual property; you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service.

6. Data Processing Agreement

Schools must sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before onboarding students. The DPA governs how we process student personal data as required by the DPDP Act 2023. It is available for review and signing inside the principal portal after account activation.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance via email.

8. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Failure to pay will result in downgrade to the free tier after a 14-day grace period. We do not store payment card details — payments are processed via RBI-compliant third-party gateways.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kruthak Technology's total liability for any claim arising from the use of LexiGuid shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the school in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered schools by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
